just to make sure

im pretty sure its a dana 44 rearend on a 56 f250 4:88 gears then 59/8 on the tag, is this correct

No, a '56 F-250 has a Dana 60 full floating. The '56 F-100 has a Dana 44. If it is a 4.88 the tag would read 39/8.
