Aftermarket keyless entry

Somehow my truck wasn't ordered with keyless entry. You would think it would be standard on a $38,000 truck

Has anyone installed an aftermarket one? What kind and how do you like it?

I've got some no-name keyless entry installed on mine. I'd have to dig under the dash to see if I can find the brand name, but I had it installed when the truck was new after a mix up in my order. It's never failed to lock/unlock the doors and I haven't had any problems with it.

I'd say as long as you have a truck with factory power locks, it should be no problem. I've seen problems with aftermarket power locks that don't work very long.

Mike, did you have the factory power locks with the remotes on your truck? I have a '02 XLT w/power locks, but no remote entry. Just wondering if the keyless entry on E-bay would be able to work on mine. Thanks.
