I just purchased a '99 F150XLT I quess it did not come with keyless entry option, had Ford Dealer check it out and they said in '99 it was a option even though manual says it is equipped with keyless entry. Has anyone installed an aftermarket keyless entry system in their truck. Thanks for any help.

Try this first: turn your ignition key rapidly from "OFF" to "RUN" (NOT "start") either 8 or 10 times. After the 8th or 10th time, if your doors lock and unlock, then the truck is equipped with the factory keyless system. All you need to do then is get a remote (or "fob" as Ford likes to call them) and program it to your truck, which is very easy to do.
