try and see if when you are pulling you are fighting headwinds on a given day...
Pulling the same route with two different head wind conditions will alter your hand calculated mpgs...
Also watch for ethanol mixed fuels...I've noticed a big hit in fuel mileage when pulling even with 10% ethanol blended fuels I find on the roads...
