460FORD I vote to get it engraved. If you have a "Things Remembered" around you they should be able to do it. Years ago my wife worked at one and we have so much engraved stuff in our house. She even engraved stuff on my amps for my car stereo back in the day.

I too vote for engraving it. I worked at an engraving shop in high school and I had all sorts of dash plates and other crazy engraved stuff all over my truck and house.

Well looking at it I have to agree that engraving the names for the controls would finish it off. Thanks.

I still haven't got the engraving done, it's on the "To Do" list. This winters rehab involved rewiring the truck and putting in a switch panel where the ashtray was. Now I have relays on just about everything and all the previous butchering is eliminated. Hydroboost, rear discs, rear camera, new shifter and aluminum mounting box beat the crap out of my budget...........if you could call it a budget.

I would love to see this info... if the offer still stands. I am working on a '74 with my son now and this could come in handy. That is one BEAUTIFUL engine compartment.
