Hey that worked good after a little twisting it came and i got it changed but agian after driving it i found it didn't really do anything. OK here is the problem and info that may help it drives ok now but when it shifts into third at 30 or less it starts to kinda have a forward backward shake the same thing happenes in overdrive at 55 or less also at idle if you give it a little gas you can feel that shake not quit the same but it is at idle not moving so to put it easy it has this problem between 1000 and 1500 rpms or something like that. and it has no low end tourqe it gets a little worse when it warms up but not much.
I was thinking IAC but could it cause all that o and it sticks at 1700 rpms sometimes when you hit the gas at idle and if you just tap the gas it drops back down.
Ok if you need anymore info let me know thanks alot you guys have been a big help so far.
Ok a new question i have dual tanks but the problem is the rear tank fuel pump is weak and but the front take transfers fuel to the rear tank so does my truck have check valves or the little selecter box and what do i need to do to correct this problem and if anyone has any input on the on shake problem i mentioned erlier that would also be very helpfull.
You have a bad Fuel Delivery Module (FDM) in the rear tank.
The shaking could be from a lean fuel mix and the FDM in the rear tank my be the cause even running on the front FDM.
so does that mean i have to go inside the rear tank to fix it or no because im sure its rusted pretty bad and would it work to just delete that tank.
Yes you would have to go inside the tank to fix it.
Yes you can do away with the rear tank but you will have to find something to plug both fuel lines.
You could cut the fuel tubes off as they come out of the tank. Take them to the bench and smash the cut ends closed and then braze them closed.
They do make test plugs but I do not know where to get them.
but wont that cause fuel to build up in the return line of the back tank and cause it to run poorly becasue the excess fuel will have no where else to go

No, if the other tank is pumping the excess fuel will go back into the pumping tank.
