Speaker Wire Source?
What's a good online source for some 16 or 14 gage speaker wire? I'm not looking for the highend expensive stuff but just some two conductor stranded wire that I can use to hook up some old speakers out in the shop. I'll need about 150-200 feet total. Thanks for your help!

Lowes, Home Depot, Ace Hardware stores... ask for "lamp cord". Comes in different gauges, colors, and is fairly cheap relative to "speaker cable", and works the same.

Online the best place is monoprice.com Without question. Good stuff good prices and fast shipping although it comes from the west coast.
You can order at 10 PM on a Sunday night and they will email you a tracking # in about 10-15 minutes.
Great prices on TV wall mounts, HDMI, and no I don't work for them, but have bought a bunch of stuff and have never been disappointed.

I know you said keep it cheap but I couldnt help myself, I found these a few years ago
Anjou Speaker Cable
Its only $7250 for a 12 foot not too bad, but while your at it you will need some really good RCA cables to hook the reciever up with, these should do

Wow, Patrick. Whoever buys that sh...tuff needs to seriously reexamine their life priorities. Talk about audiophile snobbery! I bet those guys have fine-tuned their cabbage so their farts smell like strawberries.

reminds me of a block amp they had at frys, the thing that was funny was that the plug for the amp looked like a garden hose and was labled as 11AWG im thinking thats pretty silly the best your gonna get in a house is 12AWG in the walls. That silly amp was $5500 too and weighed 110lbs.
