I just noticed this thread, Cris.
Hope it works out for you.

EDIT: What's with the double post, I only clicked once on submit and waited. And waited. I only clicked once!!!!!
Oooohhh I am loving all the dirty talk! Keep it up boys!
So do I need to wait until Blackstone sends me a test kit to change the fluid or can I do it now and just save a little of it to send in?
Thanks for the Blackstone idea Marv!
Call Blackstone and they will send you the appropriate container in a container to do it. In the meantime, change the filter so you can see how much debris is there. If there is too much, why even pay for an analysis? You need a new trans in that case.
Thanks Dan, I am fearing the worst but praying for the best here.
I got online earlier and ordered some sample kits and put in the notes that I needed oil and tranny fluid kits. Figure even if I don't need the tranny one it would be nice to send in an oil one and see what's happening with that.
Holy Schnikies Cris, I don't know how I missed this thread.
In any case, I like the idea of dropping the pan to check things out, and then sending a sample to Blackstone to confirm your findings.
If I didn't have a job, I'd fly down there and we'd drive to BTS together...
I spend today working on my dryer and entertaining the kids, the only thing I did for the truck was order the sample kit. I think I might tear into it this weekend while Troy is working.
You and I on a road trip could be very dangerous I don't think Joe would be able handle us if we went through Dallas

Now now, I wouldn't want to be responsible for any heart attacks. He is nearly 40, you know...
Thanks for the tip, Aklim. No experience here with "chemically enhanced motivation". But if Li'l Bit & the Smokin' Red-Head show up, I won't need it. Peeeeeeee-Lenty of motivation right there already.

The big "C" doesn't provide the motivation. It provides the means. Provides and provides with a half life of 36 hrs vs the "V" having 4.5 hrs.
It's sure funny how a thread about "gritty trans fluid" can get so OT. I do get a kick out of the comments though. If ya'll were serious, I think there would be a problem. All in good fun.
