Coleman Powermate generators

I was surprised about a month ago when the power went out.
Pulled the Powermate out of the shed & even though it had'nt run in about 10 years it fired up on the 3rd pull.
Mine is 110 volts & about 3,000 watts I had the TV and refigerator plugged into it.
The only downside is that it's VERY noisy.

We had one where I used to work. Had a Briggs engine on it. Nothing but trouble. I would try to find a Honda generator(One that is 100% honda, not just the engine). They have been the best I have ever used. Depending on what you are running, Hondas also had the cleanest signal as well. But thats more important if you are running computer controlled or circuit board controlled equipment.

Chad I second the honda generators. I worked for Home Depot tool rental and anything gas powered was pretty much Honda because they are reliable and quiet. as for maintence keep the spark plug changed and they are happy. P times out of 10 the reason a honda small engine wouldnt start was because it needed a new plug.
