I will soon own a 6th generation f150 4wd. The only f150 Ive owned before is a 2005 so will be going through a learning curve. Does anyone know of any sites or pages dedicated to 6th generation f150s (or thereabout)?
If I cant find one I will more than likely make one myself as I learn about them.
Since you posted here, I am assuming 6th gen is in reference to the 73-79 series, or dents. Well you have this forum, there is fordification.net , which is full of info, but missing some specific year info. I am sure there is other but I would specify what you are exactly looking for.
There are others, and even a F150forum.com site...but I do not think is it 73-79 specific? Besides for the most part, working on wise a 73-79 F100, F150, F250 and F350's are the same. Feel free to web surf like crazy, we will be here waiting. lol
This will be your best site for 6th generation. Fordification is full of spam and the rest really don't have much activity. This is by far the best site for Ford trucks.
You can google all you want I already saw those wiki pages my question was what was the best source on 6th generation f-series?
I live outside Southwest City f***.i didn't see any interior pics of your 79 f250. In your album. Actually I wasn't sure which one was the 79. If you get a chance I'd like to see what the inside of it looks like. Do the 79 F 250 four wheel drives have the outside the blocks you have to get out of the truck in order to activate for four wheel drive?
Agreed, best source of info on Dentsides is right here. Welcome!
I think you're right about this form. Even though fortification is supposed to be for just 6th generation? I get more information quicker on this forum than anywhere. Everytime I ask a question is answered multiple times within the hour
The red flatbed you sold. Correct t? The other red one is a 150. If our do have the 250 if it get a chance could you possibly some interior pics. The only one I found that I think might have been showed grey bucket seatsbut no dash etc
I parted out the F150 red flat bed to other FTE Missouri members. Running gear to one guy to make his truck 4wd and the cab and front clip to another. Motor went to another guy.
And I kept the flat bed for my red F250 project...I am still working on the interior. I have repainted it all, installed a new dash pad, door weather stripping and am working on the floor pan. I am bed linering the kick panels, back cab wall and bottom of the doors below the over hauled door panels and of course the complete floor.
I have other projects, so it is a time juggling act.
