Another Mirror Question
I did search and went through 10 pages of posts. I have an 05 f-250 XL work truck model. It has the 6.0 and 6-speed tranny(not that makes a diff). My dad ordered this truck and did not want to pay the for the extra package to get the tow mirrors. This truck has the manual paddle mirrors and I am wanting to upgrade to the tow mirrors. I have pulled the boot from the cab to the door and there are about three or four wires in there. I am guessing a couple are for the door speakers. It has manual door locks and windows. My question is, Has anyone put the turn signal and power tow mirrors on an xl model? Was wondering what to be looking for when I get the door panel off as far as wiring.

Pull the door panel off (two screws) and see if you have the mirror plug. It will be round for early '03 and rectangular for late '03, and will have 3-7 wires depending on if its wired for mirror adjustment, or turn signal/heated mirrors as well.
