I'm putting a V8 in my Ranger, and the C-4 came with a rod to hook up to the carb for the kick-down. Is there a way to put a cable set-up on it instead of that rod? I need as much space as possible, and I feel that solid piece would just get into the way. Thanks!
I believe Lokar makes a cable to replace the rod check in jegs or summit.

I used a Lokar cable on my 54 F100 with Mustang 5.0 HO EFI and C4. It was a "snap". Although it was madke for a carburetor model, it was a simple mod to make it work on my throttle body.
