My dd is a 93 F150, 5.0, E4OD & it has 272,000 miles. The CEL has been on for a couple of months now just getting around to fixing it. I had an exhaust leak that I thought could be the culprit but I fixed it & cel is still on. The codes are 311, 332 & 632. I think that 632 was my screw-up on the test but I have no idea where to start on the other codes.

I would start at the EGR and follow the vacuum line back to the EVR (EGR vacuum regulator). See if the line has become broken or otherwise unusable, especially if you have the orginal hard plastic lines from the factory. The factory plastic lines become brittle over time and break quite readily due to exposure to extreme tempertures under the hood of your truck.
I used a vacuum pump on all the vacuum lines & found 1 that was broke. I repaired it & the CEL stays out now. However, it is idling way to high, like 1200-1300 RPMs. I unplugged the IAC & it drops to 1100-1200. I thought that if you unplugged the IAC the truck wouldn't idle at all or just barely. I've owned the truck since new & I don't recall anyone messing w/ the idle screw. Any suggestions or do i need to post a new thread for this problem? Thanks.
I replaced the IAC cause it was gummed up pretty good & replaced the TPS w/ a good 1 I had @ home. It still idles way too high even when I unhook IAC. What is proper procedure for setting base idle? Any more ideas?
