msd ignition box

My 97 F350 says its equipped with a MSD 6AL ignition box. I looked all over but can't locate it. Does anyone know where its hiding

You can put them anywhere , if its not under the hood look under the dash our seats . I have seen them there before. ..Lew

theres a factory sticker under the hood that says the truck has it. I've never heard of it, but it obviously does since there is a rev limiter that cuts out a couple cylinders. just curious where they put it

Or previous owner removed it before it was sold. All these trucks have rev limiters stock

I vote for lied. If all my trucks had what they supposedly had when I bought them over the years, I'd have plenty of money for new tires.

If it has the soft touch rev limiter then it must have a box ..It shouldn't be to hard to find ,Its bright red..It should hook to the battary directly , mabee follow the wires . Lew

I can't tell you for sure what rpm the limiter kicks in, but it must be about 5,000. maybe someone did pull it off the truck because its nowhere to be found
