I have an 88 F250 with a 300 inline 6 backed up by an AOD. We built up the AOD with all the bells and whistles ( extra clutches over drive servo ....)even put in a towing shift kit. My problem is that the engine is a "slow spin" while the trans counts on high RPM (Result late shifts and early down shifts.) Is there a kit or way to correct the shift points to a lower RPM for the 300 I tried going back to a stock valve body but same problem. It wants to shift out at around 2500 to 3000 RPM and I want it to go at 2000.
