Blower speed contol

Where is the resistor bank that controls the fan speed located in my 2006 F150?

It is mounted in the heater fan housing under the dash. Dan.

Yea, the easiest way to get to it is to remove the glove box door and its right there. Theres 2 8mm screws and it comes right out and the plug is a quick disconnect. Mine cost 25 bucks at the dealer.

I just picked one up at the dealer $23 its a black plug with a flat 2x3 inch black panel attached to it. Is that the same one you guys replaced?

Heater fan speed control

That black panel and plug contains the resistor bank for the speed control and it only takes 15 minutes to replace.
