Post Ford Truck

My 1986 Ford F-150 is now starting when cold in the morning, runs a little irratic, but won't start again hot unless I press the gas pedal to the floor. What position is normal for the butterflies in the air intake manifolds at high idle? The truck has a new coil and ignition module. There is a good spark and gas at the plugs and the timing is correct. With this combination, why are the plugs wet and yet there is no ignition? Could this be caused by a vacuum leak, pickup coil, or the main computer?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I would put a fuel pressure guage on the fuel rail. Start the truck and it should read in the neighborhood of 39 lbs. Then turn the truck off. The pressure should stay up for a couple of minutes. If the pressure drops with the truck off, I would suspect you have one or more leaky injectors, which may be flooding the engine.
