I've got a noise that sounds like it's coming from the air filter that chirps when I am accelerating under a load. Does not happen at WOT. But more like slow acceleration, or kind of lugging it. Any thoughts???
Yes that happens, but I know what that is. This happens when in high gear and I start to accelerate and build boost. As it builds I get this chirping noise that sounds a lot like the noise you get after shifting up.
For the time being, take it out of overdrive to get the RPMs up -- it should quit. But still get the wheel or housing. Housing is a better fix if you can shell out the 400 clams...
You're probably right about the fix. Closer to $700 CAN by the time I get it to me.
But, the alternative sucks. Last time I had the intake off I could see some dusting on the wheel. Should I go for both or is that necessary?

Let me know if I can help, I have both in stock currently
