well, don't think there is anything out there that will increase your hp with the 08's. I am running the banks air ram. I changed to it because I was going to go with their programmer, which I now have.
I also did the change because it does give a little better response from a start, but no mpg gains.
There are several out there. The issue you will run into is the compatability factor. There as some that throw codes and some that are not approved as aftermarket filters, then you have a warranty issue.
With the banks, it does come with a EO sticker which I put under the hood so it it very clear that it meets manufacter specs, had it in for several thousand miles now with no codes.

It you really don't need it on the newer Ford diesel's. Matt at Spartan diesel has a Crazy Professor tune that puts I think an additional 275 hp over stock, putting the truck at 550+ hp at the rear wheels and he still uses the stock intake(or did when he just had tunes on that truck, I think he has finished with injectors and turbo now).
