If your talking about western salvage on Bango rd. it is scrap metal only now, Little John's, I just called them, is going to call me back and let me know if he has any old fords on the lot.

Well, boy got in on Saturday afternoon, says he LOVES his truck and we worked together on it to fix the critical stuff - his new radio and speakers (grad gift) are now installed in his truck. We also got his drivers door realigned, PO had not gotten it right, and had a big gap at the top of the door - he also taped some pennies to the inside of the door to activate the dome switch. Aligned now, no gap, and no pennies.

Brakes (not as important to the boy as the radio) have to wait for next weekend as the weather was not cooperating this weekend.

On a positive note, it appears the leak in the rear diff at the yoke stopped once the oke nut was retightened, and the Lucas I added to the steering box, appears to have stopped the leak near the pittman arm. Maybe just a dry seal due to sitting for a year.

Last, did not replace the accelerator pump yet, but the overnight draining of the carb appears to have resolved itself as well, maybe got a piece of dirt in it somewhere or something, but starts right up on the morning this weekend.

Well if anyone remembers I was rear ended from a lady at a stoplight. I was stationary, she hit me going 45mph with a '99 Corola. I drove away, she did not. These early one's are the most solid ones I think. The later style(88-95) I worry about.
