And, to get the patrol to turn around, just have it pegged at about 28 psi :-)
At steady state 65 mph, on level ground, with the throttle open enough to stay constant at this speed I would say, yeah, around 7 or 8 psi is about right. Assuming a 6.0?

Oh not really, I met him a in blind curve last night and my GPS was reading 74mph, I never looked at the boost though because that was irrelevant at the time. I got a friendly warning, I actually think I surprised him and he didn't get a good lock on my speed.
If you have connections the police wont mess with you. Im thinking about going with 4.30 instead of the 3.73 with my 37" tires. Trying to run less boost at crusing speed to get better mpg. Plus better take off and pulling power.
I have a 05 F450 with 4.30's and am running about 7-9 psi at 65-70 mph. Gears won't change much as far as boost goes, but they will make your tranny a lot happier!
Stock tuning I get 7-8 psi, Spartan's Mild Street Economy I get 6-7 psi, and with their Hybrid Race tune I get about 2 psi. The HR tune has more advance timing and some other tricks to get more out of the fuel with less air. It gets me much better mileage too.
