I think tinted may have meant something different back then. I see some sort of tint, green maybe? on my windows. It's so faint it looks like clear glass almost.

Yep that was factory tint on these trucks, it was a very faint green tint, i was lucky and scored the side glass to replace the door glass in my truck, the previous owner had a parts truck, and never pulled the factory tint glass back in the 90s, we had to find glass and we got some, because the glass that was in the truck had a slight mishap when grinding the cab corners, the one window was rolled down, and the door was open, thus the glass was toast, DOH!
but the previous owner gave me a factory tint front windshield, it has that upper tint, to block the sun out, not sure what they call that, because a stone killed his window before he sold it to me, and even the rear slider has that factory green tint, i know its faint, but its good enough for me, i don't care for limo tint, too dark for me, makes it feel like a tomb
now to stay true to this thread, i did the same thing awhile back last year, interesting to read about what your truck had from new, my truck is very different now! 2x4 to 4x4, long box to short box! but it did come factory with a 302w, this one i have now under the hood is out of a 1971 Ford Torino, but its still a 302w, and it came with Auto, but now its a upgraded early 80s AOD, somethings stay the same kinda, but other things are worlds away!

Another interesting little factoid about automotive window tint that affects those of us who wear prescription glasses that have either Photogrey or Transitions lenses - The tint will prevent the lenses from darkening. It doesn't seem to matter how dark the tint is either - factory tint has this affect. I have to wear a polarized clip on my glasses when I go driving...
what is a F13 truck? (sorry my brain must have fell out, i can't remember a F13?, is that a big semi Ford truck?)
i do know you can only go as far back as 1966? i think, can't remember the year, sometime in the mid 60s, they had a fire, thus all older records where lost, i even asked them on the phone about how far back they could go, when i was ordering mine, they said the year 196? and i said was it due to the fire right, and they said yeah, there was a fire that year, thus all older records where lost,
The F130 was the annomaly that appears every now and then. I think we have 4 or 5 confirmed cases of the truck Ford never built. I think it came down to a cross breed of F100 frame with F250 running gear.
Send in the VIN to Ford and next thing you know CIA and FBI are on your front door.
