Bilstein Struts/Shock Install

Bilstein Struts/Shock Install
I will be ordering Bilsteins 5100 series, was wondering if the average person could replace the struts, Shocks are no problem. Or should I leave it up to the professionals. I understand that an alignment would need to be done after. Any special tools needed. I've worked on older car and trucks, but not this new stuff. Any info would be great.
