installing Bilstein 4600 on 2005 f150 front shocks

I'm new to this site and I'm sure this has been cover before. I have an 2005 crew cab 4.6 XLT 2wd, I have been looking at the Bilstein 4600 24-107617 for my truck. looking at the new bilstein I notice that there is not a lower spring seat that is attached to it. So my question to everyone is how in the world does one replace the bilsten shock/strut. I know that they say to reuse the mount from the old shock. If this is the case has anyone done this, is it welded on or do you just knock it off and reuse it. Been looking on line have not seen anything of this being shown on the replacement. Any info would be a big help
