headrest monitors

I am looking for two monitors to place in the back on my seats in a 2002 excursion. I have a kenwood kvt512 head unit already installed.

I have a couple of questions.
1. How deep are the brackets that hook into the seats?
2. How do the units hook into the seats?
3. After the install what if anything can I do about the shacking of the seat/monitor?
4. What is a good inexpensive brand of monitors? too many of them out there.

thanks,

Alan...................officer131

Of the ones I've seen, depth is around an 1". The bracket goes in behind the covering and then the monitor clicks into it. It's more of a bucket than a bracket. There are a few ways to mount the bucket, hardware straps are pretty commonly used just to make it easy.

If you do a good job on the install, the monitors shouldn't shake anymore the seat does. I don't know about in expensive. I tried to only deal with Myron Davis headrest with monitors built in.
