Hey guys and gals,
Got a problem. Some of you may remember me and all the problems I've had with my truck. Since it hasn't been running I'm kinda on the boards sparingly. Well it's all changing, I have a long block on order (which should have shipped today), and several things already here to start a full rebuild with a good start on some PMS. However, I just ran into a big road block. I was in the process of rebuilding my turbo which I knew needed a compressor wheel from dusting (which is what killed the engine). My problem is that my engine catastrophically failed by ingesting the compression rings on #5 and #7 cylinders. Well guess what....,they had to go somewhere, and they went into my turbine wheel. It's chewed to hell. I'm not really in the market for a turbo due to budget reasons. Anyone here have a turbine wheel and shaft or know where I can source one? Thanks in advance.
Chase, I just called him to ask.. He said no he does not.. Kind of his problem to, he can not get any either..
Sorry Chad.. it was a bum steer..
E for effort though!
Unfortunately... you may have to pick up a used turbo to get those parts. Check out this post for a great deal on an upgraded stock turbo.

I bought that exact kit from the same guy on ebay. he told me he might be able to get me one, but if he's telling you he can't than I'd hate to take that chance. Any used turbos will be of interest. As far as budgets goes, I will have to dig deep to find the money to fix this much less an upgrade, thanks for the offer though. Anyone know of like a junk yard specializing in powerstrokes or something? I ordered parts for my 68 stang from a specializing yard once, just wonder if anyone else has heard of one.
I have a stock rebuilt turbo with a gutted non-EBPV pedestal that I'll let go real reasonable. PM me if you're interested. Kinda sux that you bought a rebuild kit for yours, but maybe you could unload it or return it to help cover the cost of another turbo...
