Recon Clearance lights

Hey guys, I installed the recon clearance lights on my 04 f-250 super duty. They came out great but i cant get them wired up right. I tried wiring it into my fuse panel, but it only gave me constant power. I tried all of my fuses for the lights and consoul lights. I feel like i tried every possible one. I Do not have an overhead display so i had to run the wire down to the fuse box i thought. Any ideas or thoughts i really want to get these things going. Thanks a lot

-Ryan

you should try taping into your park light circuit.

The parking lot light fuse should not be constant hot. You could try running a wire out to one of the front lights.

UGA33, probably not. that's 2 hours from me and I don't need a dyno yet. i'm waiting for the drags down in Reynolds.

The parking light fuse is constantly hot because it is before the headlight switch. You need to tap in after the headlight switch.

Just pull the switch loose and use a 12volt test light to see which wire has power when you turn on your parking lights and tap into it there.

Yeah that makes perfect sense i tapped into the switch and now it works great. I thought i could take a shortcut with the fuse box, but that turned into a nightmare. Thanks for all the help guys i'll try to get some pictures up soon.
