The base of the emblem was the same on F-100, F-250, F-350 etc. The F-100 250 & 350 was applied (by bradding the studs as a way of attachment) for each specific weight truck.
Sometimes over the years the simple vibration of the vehicle caused some of the brads not to hold and that part would fall off. Nobody reproduces these and they are pretty hard to find because of fitting one year only.
Ford did this to cut cost on the molds. As someone before me said, Good Luck.

I need 2 of the "F-600" numerals for my '58 F600. I have the main part of the emblem but like everyone else's my F600's have fallen off on the road somewhere.

got your thread. Don't know yet how to respond quickly. I've had this truck since I was 15, am now 46, and had no idea there were others out there that liked '58's.Cool!
oh, there are a few of us. Mine is my daily driver or atleast my bad weather drive (love to get the triumph out with the sun) and she run like a dream. What shape is yours in, its not like you can blame problems on the previous owner?
I've got the same problem with those hood side emblems on my 58F100.
In fact I've got some extra sets and none of them have the F100 portion attached. Every set I've ever seen--since I started looking--has just the two little holes where that F100 portion was attached to the side of the Jet plane etc.
The photo from cbass showing the complete hood side emblem is like something "new and unusual"
Its always that way--I guess? the fastners rivets?brads? whatever couldn't hold up to the elements?? just guessing
But I always look at the trim areas of swap meets etc.
I've had this truck since I was 15,(now 46) and don't remember the f100 addition. I live in yuba city,ca. and am now cruisin' country roads looking for the barnyard ford. Thanks for the thread, Dean
The top pic is the inside/back side and the bottom pic is the outside/front side the side one would see after being mounted.
Here's what it looks like from the back and from the front. Don't know if you can see much from this, but with it in my hands I'm guessing that the F100 portion must have 2 studs that go through these holes and on that back side of the piece the area surrounding the holes is kinda torn up, while the front looks just fine. So because of that I'm guessing that these things were somehow afixed from the back side. That's just a guess but that's what it looks like. I can't see any evidence or marks for a speed nut etc. So I don't know exactly how they were attached. But like I said the front side which is chrome I guess, and doesn't show anykind of mark or blemish.
But maybe JB Weld? Or some other similar epoxy type glues would work?
