For the TWIN I-BEAM fender emblem, does anyone know where I can buy the round inserts that mount in the fender that hold the 3 'pins' on the backside of the emblem when you press it into the fender? I already have good emblems; just need the hardware that holds them.
Mac's Auto Parts, page 96 in their catalog. They have all three sizes, and I believe the fender emblem requires the large barrel clips. They give the diameter range of the pins.
Not sure if you have local auto-body supply stores, but they usually stock this sort of thing. They come in different diameters and lengths as well. The pins are 1/4" and I think you want no deeper than 1/4" as well.
Thanks. The ones at Mac's look close, except as DoubleOh7 says, the 3 pins on the fender emblem are 1/4" diameter and 3/4" long. There are 3 different sizes at Mac's: 0.120-0.130, 0.128-0.190, and approx 0.062 diameter. These all seem too small (?). [unless the diameter is BEFORE you push the pin into the barrel clip?]
Local body-supply stores didn't carry the barrel clips. Found them online; p/n 354341S for Ford. 1/4" stud, 9/32" hole.
$5.44 for 10 pcs, included shipping.
Local body-supply stores didn't carry the barrel clips. Found them online; p/n 354341-S for Ford. 1/4" stud, 9/32" hole.

This is the correct part number, no Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.
Received the parts from ebay seller; they fit perfectly and emblems now installed. In case anyone's in search of these barrel clips, it's jbtoolsales: jbtoolsales02 on eBay
or items in JB Tool Sales store on eBay!
A few other sellers listed these too (search by p/n 354341-S).
