Thanks Dave....I actually needed 2. I figure to finish up this last 56f100 and it is nearly there now. Then if my health holds out, finish the 53 and the big 56........and the 71 and the.... and the.... and the..... and so on......LOL
I just placed an ad.....wanted a 1956 complete and drivable,so I can retire. Bill
Dave, Help your buddy out with the drive shaft, and if the buyer come back for the trans sell it. THEN maybe (at a better price) I'll be interested. I'll keep the doors ready for you as I will be headding south to deliver a F1 frame soon. I'll let you know when.
The driveshaft is gone. The guy that was interested in the tranny vanished. So, if you still want it, the rest is yours.
I am mostly interested in getting the thing out from in front of my shop as it is blocking the door. If it doesn't go real soon I will need to move it to the back yard with the rest of my treasures. That may create a problem with retrieval as in is down hill and if the rainy season continues it will be hard to ge back out without tearing up the yard. I have five registered motor vehicles here and three good sized trailers. That doesn't count the project vehicles and donor vehicles. I am litterally drowning in my own excrement so to speak. On top of all that I have the Scoobygator getting finished in the shop. It's tough dealing with all this on a hillside half acre. Hopefully we can deal on this stuff and both come out better for it.
