I have a '76 302 that the water pump went out on and I was wondering if the water pump from a '83-'84ish 351W will fit.
I have the 351W in my gerage waiting to be built and I need a water pump now but am a lil short on money for a reman or new from the local parts house. Just wondering this little question to save myself some money and hair pulling.

It depends on which waterpump your 1976 F100 302 has, because there were two different pumps used in 1976 on 302 F100/150's.

one quick question guys .... how can I tell a reverse water pump from a older v belt pump ? I was digging through my used pump box (about 9 or 10 pumps and 1/2 is reverse ) and could not quickly identify the differnce . thanks rg
