I just bought a 86 F150 4X4 that someone has swapped a 351m/400 and a 4spd into (linkage clutch system).
<br><br>
Will headers for a 80-82 F150 with a 351M work?
<br><br>
What about earlier model year headers?
<br><br>
Also will 1.5" primary/2.5" collector be to small for this setup:
<br>
Edelbrock Performer 400 intake
<br>
Edelbrock 600 carb
<br>
.485/.510 218/228 112LSA cam
<br>
0 decked shortblock
I suspect the 80-82 headers will work just fine (I have 82 F250 2WD headers on my 81
F350 4WD but making 'em fit required a ball peen hammer) but you're gonna have to tell us
if 'm right nor not because you're the only one who can try it and see if they'll clear the
PO-added mechanical clutch linkage. If you have 4WD it'll be a little bit of a problem.
