So recently I painted my hooks red and painted the lettering on the emblems red and felt I needed a little more red to tie everything together. Along with that I had painted the bumper and grill black so to de-chrome the front a little more the headlights were next, check it out (still need to post a installed picture, last picture is a before)......

Headlights look killer, very good idea
I did the same thing to my 2006, absolutely hated the solid chrome headlights, so I bought some A/M Harley versions but I still wasn't happy so I took the Harley Lights apart & re-painted the Black surround in Copper to match.
I could not be happier, I love to be "different'
Great looking mod! I'm hoping you will spread some of the red paint in the "SUPER DUTY" lettering on the grill. Would love to see completed pix w/o the rain when you can.
Looks great. I'm always a fan of stock looks and what I like about this is that it retains the stock part that is customized. You keep the "original look" and bodylines but customize it vs some of those other types of aftermarket headlights with about 25 different lights in it that look like some kid and his street racer (sorry if any of you own those, I just don't like them).
