Ya big dummy! Get a GPS suction cup mount, superglue or screw
the monitor mounting bracket to it (screwing is better), and place
it at top of windshield right next to the rear view mirror.

You do realize how big the windshields are in Excursions, right?

i called our local sams today and i got 3 different people, same answer............. NO on the price match, but the reginal (i think that's what he is) manager is going to be there SUN, so i'm going to take the printed out page in and see if they'll match it.

I suspect the Regional Manager will match the price. There's no reason these should be different prices all over the country. But, if he doesn't, I can probably get one to you for $35 and maybe as much as $10 to $15 shipping (it's heavy). It's still a bargain at $45 to $50.

Free advice: Don't make threats.... such as you'll never shop there again if he doesn't do so and so. This turns customer service and managers off faster than anything else during a conversation. But, you probably know this already anyway.

The reason I was given for the cheap price is that they are closing it out. Like Costco, Sam's doesn't always have the same items every time you go. My store (Nampa, ID) doesn't carry the item but the manager had seen it at their Salt Lake City location so he knew what I was talking about. He did a nationwide search and verified VaSheriff's price and availability. It is being brought in for me as a courtesy to a customer.
Use this approach, or tell them this story, and you should be accomodated.
Don't, and don't!!

i'll let you know how it goes. i agree no need to get combative over things, the only reason i got 3 different answers was goin threw the "well i don't think we'll match it"........... then i just wondered if the next one on the totem pole would know/agree to match it.

VaSheriff, there's honor among the X owners........... your offer is greatly apreciated, and i will let you know how it turns out at the local sams club, if they still don't agree to the match i'll hit you up on your offer.

Shipping to Alaska doesn't appear to be much more than $15.00

PM me.... Get your orders in and make payment quick before my Sams Club sells out. They had plenty a few days ago, but they're not going to last.

So, $37.00 including Virginia sales tax, plus $15 shipping = $52.00

I do accept Paypal.

William_04_x above can vouch for me. He paid, his is on the way to him with a tracking number provided to him today.

Does this unit have more than one video input?

I want to use it as another monitor on the stock DVD entertainment system.

The transmission of the signal from the rear lens to the monitor is wireless of course.

It also has one additional AV input. Package says "Audio Visual input for Video Games and DVDs".

Reps sent Sheriff. It's people like you that make this place great.

At one time I had an inside man at the dealer and I could get everything at his cost which is cost plus 10%.
I sold alot of parts to alot of people all over the country. Alot like VA Sheriff is doing. I know for sure these people appreciate you for what you are doing.
Well my contact is gone now but it was fun while it lasted.

Reps away to you!
