Water pump
I dropped a socket last night and it made it into the back side of my water pump pulley. Any ideas on how to get it out without taking my truck into a shop?
Ive tried about everything I can think of along with a few suggestions and have had no luck. Is there a flexible magnet out there with a short end?

There is a little flex rod that craftsman makes that is about 23-24''long with a small pull handle on one end, and a small 4 prong claw on the other, might give that a try, It works great for stuff that falls down in the valley. It may or may not work, it depends on whether or not how easy it is to get to, but its worth a shot.

I did it late last night and when I tried to pull the pulley, my weak tools didnt do me much good. A little swearing and a lot of persaverance (or was it the other way around), It's out with my flexible magnet and compressed air.
