Towing
ok i got a 2006 f350 diesle super cab short bed . thinking towing a gooseneck trailer like a 24 or 25 ft one and putting my hydromobile scaffolding on it, it is 24ft long 7 ft wide and weights 7200lbs , my question is can my truck tow it and if so can i tow it legally. thanks for any info or help

Legally, I would think so. Weight,........what else are you gonna put on that trailer? Is that 7200lbs plus the trailer? Even if it is, Just remember to look behind you every once in a while. You will forget it's back there.

The gooseneck you have can probably handle 12.5k and if I'm reading your post right your cargo is 7,200. Even if you max out your trailer, your truck can still haul it and unless your truck is heavy enough(sticker weight) to bring your total to or over 26,001(use trailer sticker weight as well) you should be able to legally tow it. Exemptions to that depend on the state your in.
