i have a leveling kit on my truck now but i want to take it to the next level dose anyone know of a 6" lift for a good price. i was looking at a rough country lift has any one had a problem with there lift kit.
I was looking at them but I found that they were way to much money for one. Thats what I thought anyways. 1200 or whatever it is was way to much for me. I did find a 4 inch but found out a 3 inch leveling kit was good enough and only cost 80 then add on 80 for an add a leaf. I would stay where you are unless you got the money to throw at it. You could pass some this way to lol
haha no ive been saving up for one and i was looking at a 4" lift but some of the 6" lifts are cheaper. idk what im going to do i want to do so much but my pockets aren't that deep.
If your gonna do four might as well do six. They are usually cheaper or around the same price. I would like one but I know I won't ever fork over the 1200 bucks. So I just plan 0n going from my two in leveling kit to a three and throwin on some 35's
I don't think you'll go wrong with whichever kit you pick. Seems like they all do the job and I haven't really heard anyone say anything negative about a lift they had installed on their truck... any negative comment about a certain brand of lift I hear or read about usually comes from someone who has not installed that lift brand of lift on their truck. I have not installed or even seen an F-150 around me with the Rough Country lift kit. I did install one on my cousin's Dodge over two years ago. He's been running problem free ever since.... he doesn't go wheelin' with it though, so I can't comment on its durability for off-roading. I had a 2.5" leveling kit on my '06 and decided to take it off and install a 4" Rancho just over a year ago. I really liked the sub-frame design of the Rancho. I also didn't want any more than 4" of lift, plus the Rancho allowed me to use my stock 20's... I considered that money saved, thus being cheaper in total cost than the 6" lifts I was looking at. Just pick a lift that fits your needs and budget and I think you'll be happy.
