Awesome welding truck...

Today I seen a really neat sliver grey/blk deck mid 90`s F350 dually that absolutely sparkled driving down the street. I sure would have like to see it again from close up.
It was as clean as any polished firetruck that I`ve ever seen......

funny, we were just comming back from washing momma's quad and seen a '05-'07 f350 dually, about 6" of lift and it was set up as a welding truck. looked totally tough and built for business!!!

No doubt there`s some sweet welding trucks around but it`s rare to see an older unit looking as half as good as this 92-5.....
The guy must spend all his spare time just polishing it.

I always laugh at the guys that lift the hell outta their welding trucks!

Sounds like a nice old welding truck though Morris. Most welders I run into love the older ford dually's for welding trucks. They say they are tough as nails, tougher then the newer ones.

One regular welder we had up in Wabasca, had a 04 king ranch, and a 95ish f350 welding truck, and he said he just loved the 95 PSD for a welding truck. He said the 04 was nice and all, but just wasnt a work horse like his 95 was.

Wonder why the 95 seemed more of a work truck compared to the 04?
My 05 seems like it`s very capable of heavy duty stuff......

Dont know Morris. I talked with him alot about his trucks too when we were waiting around for this or that.

He did say his 04 was much more of a comfy truck then his 95. But yeah he always said it wasnt half of the truck his older one was, when it came for what he used them for.

I know my 92 F250 4X4 seems like more of a real work truck and the 05 is a sweet ride.

He had a stereotypical 6.0 in his king ranch too, I think he did get turned off a little by that.

He used his 04 in the winter lots though. Due to the comfy factor!
