i am sure this question has been asked before. i am sorry for asking again, but would a adrenalin hpop make a difference to my truck. i dont have bigger injectors all i have is what is in my sig. i read about #8 not getting enough oil. would this help or do you need different injectors to make the new HPOP worth the money. what are some other things that you can do to help with this problem. i do have a cross over oil hose. just remembered that
you should feel alot better throttle but it isnt going to help#8..it doesnt get enough fuel...a regulated retrurn or CCK as well as the in tank mod is what you need for that..
To add to what Ron said, it will help with stock injectors because they are "Split-Shot" injectors. They use more oil than Single-Shots. Some of the HP oil is used to inject a "pilot shot", and that leaves less for the main injection event. Hence you run out of oil on the top end, and generally have less oil pressure available anyway.
The issue with the #8 injector is fueling, not oil. The fixes are what Ron said...
I'm seriously thinking about putting one in my truck, just to make sure I have solid oil pressure for later.
are the fixes ron said easy, how bad will the hurt the wallet and where can i get them. so the new HPOP would be worth the money with my truck the way it sits.
The fixes vary in cost. I put in the CCK, and am satisfied for now. The cost is a bit over $100 -- can't recall exactly. It's a good solution for a stock truck. The Adrenaline is about $450, IIRC, and would be worth it, especially if yours is getting weak. How many miles on your truck?
are you trying to fix a problem? or just feeling the need for a better pump. I too have stock sticks and felt a big improvement when I'm towing. just driving around not so much. If you are setting a 1211 code or getting an intermittant check engine light the adrenaline may help. but the #8 issue is a fuel issue. Several of our sponsers have solutions to this. Prices vary greatly depending on what type of system you choose.
125,000 miles on truck i was just looking at a regulated return. it about 5oo and some change. what is the CCK? the RR system i looked was offered with fuel bowl delete if you do that what do you put a fuel filter?

not sure if i have a problem to fix, i want to get all i can get out of my truck+ want to do every thing i can to make it last a long time. you start all the HP upgrades and seems that you should do other things. to get fuel and oil to everything. I dont want to buy a new truck and dont want to hurt my truck. maybe i am over thinking this whole thing.
Not really. It just keeps air out of the fuel system, which is important. The fix for #8 is the CCK or RR. RR is for higher HP applications, the CCK is good for stock sticks. Here is the CCK: Dino Fuel Alternatives | Product Detail
Yes, it will. It's not too bad -- get a small tubing cutter to fit down where the cuts need to be made to make it easier. I did mine in a couple hours, but I had problems with a stripped bolt on the belt tensioner...
