Anyone know were I can find a pair of road sander for dual wheels? Electric or manual, Pictures would be helpful so I could maybe make a look alike. Thanks
You just never know when the weather is going to change here in the Phoenix area. I just like the look but not the $1000 price each if new. So if I ever get this truck far enough along I will build my own cable opperated units.
When I read the title of this post I tried to imagine what a "road sander" looked like. Then I thought, why would anyone want to "sand a road"? I was having visions of a gigantic hardwood floor-type refinisher running down the road taking out the high spots. I guess I have been living in SoCal too long!
I took the family to Nashville some years ago to visit the wife's folks at Christmastime. When we were putting the luggage into the trunk of the rental car my 17 year old son asked what that plastic spatula-looking tool was for....when I told him it was used to scrape ice off the windshield he asked me why anyone would put ice on the windshield in the first place! He had never seen snow or ice and never even gave it a thought that it would "grow" on a windshield. I guess now I know how he felt when I told him about cold weather and the ice....
