IPR question

im swapping HPOPs and I need to swap IPRs but how the hell do i get it off without breaking the sensor? ive got it loose but its hitting the pump, do i just keep turning? i dont wanna break it, they are pricey, and even if i gota new one id run into the same issue putting it on!

You've got to break it down- remove the tin nut on the back and pull the solenoid off, then unscrew the remaining part.

Yep, what Chase said.. It just comes apart then you need 1 1/8th socket or wrench to break it lose.

Once you remove the nut & spacer and slide off the solenoid you will be left with this.
