now that i have a couple of mods and tow alot in the summer, i want to install gauges. i have seen pillars that look nice.l are these hard to install. and how complicated is the wiring? and what brand is the best considering cost and accuracy.
Not very hard to install. About three hours if you don't fiddle faddle around. It'll depend on the brand of gauges for the wiring complexity. If you can install a stereo and speakers, you can install gauges.
I want them.. but some ppl seem to complain about they immense brightness at night.
Thanks.
Here is a nite shot.It is bright even with the dimmer all the way down.If you drive in the city with all the surrounding lights it's all right but if your on a road with only the street light or none at all it comes irritating.

I have the DiPricols and highly recommend them. BUT, Clay is offering a deal that would be hard to pass up. Personally, I don't like those blue gauges. I like them to match the stock cluster, and the DiPricols match PERFECTLY. I think IssPro has a set that's pretty close too. The nice thing about the DiPricols are that they are lit with LEDs -- no light bulbs to worry about. Here's what mine look like:
I know that I am out of my league not having a PSD but I would like to just say that if you would like to get gauges and also help out one of our own and support a newly built business give riffraff a call and see what he can do to set you up. He is trying to get started and I am a FIRM believer in helping one achieve their dreams. He does also have a good rep from the guys that he has helped out in the past from what I have read in here and I know that He would appreciate the business.
