There is a two pronged connector on the compressor side of my 95 what is this wire and is there any positive or negative effects of unplugging it and is there any negative effects of straight piping and getting rid of the cat on my truck

That connector is for the actuator for the exhaust back pressure valve. Go ahead and unplug it, you won't need it anyhow unless you live in the arctic.
And as long as you don't have to worry about emissions testing you can grt rid of the muffler and cat.
