Ethanol in Gas
#3
it breaks down gas and seperates if water has found its way into it, after about a month and a half it wont run in lawn mowers, or anything with less than 8:1 compression ratio, I dunno bout gas mileage tho, not enough time to test, and runs like crap in 2 cycle even with the best 2cycle oil mix

We have been using ethanol in Minnesota for years with absolutly no problems. I've tried regular and high octane without ethanol and no change in milage or power, even towing my 30ft. travel trailer. Also used in our snowmobiles with no problems or changes in milage or power. The good points are no frozen fuel lines and it keeps your injecters clean. The Ford engines are set up for ethanol, up to 10%. I don't use it in my chain saws or outboards. cdru
