call it cheesy weird or whatever but i seen a fellow that bolted a round base to the floor hump for a camper table used a 16" or so long pipe and built his own table to fit his cups if you need room for 1 more person it just comes apart i am going to do that for mine but will use a base for a boat seat as they sit flush on the floor with the pipe part resessed it realy looked and worked good
i put the seats from a 95 f150 xlt, that had the center bucket fold down with console. it has cupholders in it, they dont hold bottles very well but handles everything else
During hunting season a couple years ago, a buddy made a joke saying I didn't have a truck without a couple holder. The following year I bought the two-cup holder from mac auto parts to replace the ashtray. Granted it was rather expensive, but it was meant as a joke. Now when we ride three wide through the mountains, my brother-in-law and I get a cup holder and my buddy gets to sit there holding his beverage...
All aside, after I got it, I was impressed in the quality of it. Granted a person could probably make it for cheaper, it is a pretty nice option now that I have it...
Keep in mind, the two-cup holder only holds cans and not much of anything bigger...
My cupholders came with the new seats I got for the truck (which I have yet to install). I bought a new 40-20-40 seat, and the center has cupholders in the back as well as some storage, and the bottom of the seat opens up into another storage area. I kinda liked the use of space...and the old setup had to go with the rebuild.
Back when I had my first 77 I had a single cupholder that had a swivel joint built into it. I wish I could find it again, it never sspilled me beer....I mean my soda!
Well, considering mine just discentegrated into a pile of dust the other day, something better than cardboard would have been nice, I mean everything else is built like a tank, why not the glovebox too!!
And not to offend, but the last time a set a large drink from a fastfood place there in my truck under normal driving conditions, I turned a corner and it went all over my floorboard! Thats why I have a Wal-Mart console bolted to my trans hump!!
I dont recall where I found this one. Not easy to find, although once in a while my cup holder seems to empty my drinks.
Starts off with a full beverage, but I end up with an empty one. Not sure what to make of it, but it works out.
My cup holder cooks too!
