9in ford rear end

I finally found a 9 inch rear end. It is out of a 72 half ton. Will the stock 53 shock mount plates work under it? I had a 54 few years back and I put a 9in under it and I think I used the stock plates on it. But I know that the 9in is bigger in diameter then the stock rearend. If they won't work, will the shock mounts that are on the 72 9in work?

The tie-plate portion of the stock F100 that holds the U-bolts is likely too small for the 3" axle as well. So I assume as was mentioned before, that the larger version of said tie plate should work....like that of the F250? The 9" has the shock mount welded to the axle tube, and it should only be a matter of locating the upper mount. Midfifty has those upper shock mount parts (as well as the lower conversion parts).
