Help

I have a 1999 f-350 DRW 4x4 crew, and today I awoke to a dead battery, and after jumping it I found the heater fan is on and it stays on when the key is removed. I have cheacked the relays and they are all good.... does anyone know what the $%^% is going on???

Thanks

not sure but suggest taking the fuse out for the fan upon stopping till you can fix it. Had a neigbors car do the same thing, took the fuse out and it allowed the relay to reset and it has been fine ever since.

My diagram shows the blower motor relay is the only source of power, the resistor and fan switch are grounds. Fuse 55, 40A shows as the power for the relay (but it said 2002 models.) The trip circuit is hot only in run which should be controlled by the ignition switch.
