The best find I ever got was my old Charger. When I got it back to the house and opened the trunk, it was chock full. There were 4 hefty bags worth of trash and 8 pieces of firewood, but there were also about $300 worth of random new old stock parts in boxes, a set of extra heads, and about half of the tools I now use.
I got a parts car mazda that came with about 30 random bottles/cans of cleaners, lubricants and spray paints. There were clothes all in the trunk (clean up rags), a bunch of screw drivers I use, and 3 (in the pack) condoms were found under the seats (aaaahhhh!).
In my daily driver mazda I found 2 extra batteries, a bunch of new sensors in boxes, an extra trans, lots of cleaner fluids, some plumbing supplies, and about $10 in change.
In my F100, I got an extra quart of oil behind the seat, and a nasty old lantern battery jammed under the seat. That was it. I was disappointed.
The cab I bought had a scurvy looking padded bra "stuffed" inside the drivers door.
That was weird and gross, and makes you wonder how it got into the door of an old wrecker. Bartering for services maybe? An underendowed lady trucker on a hot day?
My parts truck has a locking glove box. Needless to say I didn't get the key when I bought the truck. I finally got it open last week and there where (3) brand new oil pan plugs, original 1974 owners manual, NOS turn signal switch (score), a bunch of paper work from the original owner, and a metal tag that had the VIN stamped into it. Plus the glove box was totally intacked and the light even worked. They are now in my daily driver, along with the ash tray light.
I was helping a friend dismantle an old 7 liter ford galaxie and after removing the instrument cluster I asked if I could have something from the car? He said take whatever you want, so I folded the $20 bill that was hanging from one of the instrument wires and put it in my pocket. I actually got paid to help him that time!! Tom
My best was the 91 dodge that was the original motor donor (cummins) for my 74 crew.
It not only paid for itself in parting it out (and I still have the complete motor!), but it had a nice, 24" or so long breaker bar in the back, and all this under the seats/carpet! I've taken apart a lot of old trucks and haven't found this much change in all of them combined!!!!

LOL!!!!! I think you win!
I just remembered, I also found a 14k gold bracelet under the seat of a Ford Escort I bought about 10 years ago. I cleaned it up, got an old jewelry box from my mom and gave it to my girlfriend as a birthday present. HA HA HA!
'78 parts truck had tons of great spare parts burried under leaves in the bed. More than I realized when I bought it.
Inside the glove was the orignal owners manual/papers.
There was also a convertor to play cassete tapes in an 8 track player!
I found a nice 2lb hand sledge hammer with hickory handle under the seat. I immediately put it to good use taking the truck down to the frame. That was several years back and it's still on standby and often comes in handy. I also found 2 rats nest that had bits and pieces of all kind of stuff in it in both side cowl vents....this was found during teardown. The truck sat for days without running at my granddad's before he gave to me and I guess it made a nice rats condo. I guess I have a Rat Rod.
I found a bee hive! Yup a real live, and active bee hive. Darn things had some honey going on, and were totally upset that I was moving stuff around.
Grown man running away from bees was quite the sight to see.
Fortunately, I was not alergic, as I did suffer a few stings.
My legs did not move fast enough to get away. Darn bees!!!!!
I was afraid to open the shop for days.
I used to work in a car dealership as a detailer. you wouldnt belive what people leave in their cars when they turn them in. lol I wont go into the nasty details, but belive me, it was unsanitary to save the least!
in my cars though, I found a hundred dollar bill hidden under the center console clipped to a wire with a roach clip. (looked like it'd been used a time or two) lol
In my 79, under a bed full of trash, I found 4 tires, a tire thumper, a brush guard, a couple screw drivers, fishing tackle, a broken bb gun, and about 5 cans of spray paint. lol SCORE!!!
I bought a F250 a few years back with one of those passenger side compartment/toolbox and is often the case the keys were long lost and the toolbox locked so after a few weeks my curiosity got the best of me so i drilled out the lock and found a rusty old tow chain, a leaky 2-ton bottle jack and what appeared to be an old set of jumper cables by the looks of the dirty rust stained plastic covering they were in, that is until i pulled them out and they were like brand new, not only brand new but a heavy duty set of 25 ft. 2 gauge cables, i figure they had to be at least worth 100 bucks.
When I cleaned the bed of my Highboy I found a screwdriver, two pair of pliars and a come-along. And two HUGE! scrap radiators that I turned in slightly before scrap metal prices plunged. $68 for the pair!
And I hung the bedliner from my rafters for light part storage.
