Help! transfer case adapter problem
I have a 85 f250 with a t19 4 sp manual. I am replacing the bw 1345 transfer case with a bw1356 b/c the bw1345 is shot. My problem is that the adapter from tranny to transfer case has cracked and split at the bolts. None of the parts stores or Ford can tell me where to find the adapter. I don't want to spend $500 for the adapter from AA adapters. Is there anything else i can do besides scour the junkyards? Which truck years should i be looking at to find this adapter at the junk yards?

Just get one from a junk yard. It will cost you about $10 and some of your time.
Many F-Series trucks or Broncos will have one.
When you have something this old you will HAVE to go to the junk yard for parts. It's a requirement for owning one.
