Question is bolt pattern same on bw1350 and bw1354

is there any differance between the 1350 ad 1354 transfer case , i need to know if the bolt pattern is the same , 1350 came out of bronco 2 and rangers, the 1354 came out of my 92 exploder, advance adapters makes adapter for ford T18 31 spline output aod tranny to bw1350, but not to bw1354, is there any diff between the two t case's. Any help is great, want to get my 302 powered explorer to the bush but need a compact t case to do it. For those following this, the np208, bw1356 too big for frame rails, np205 impossible too find, so adapter time right, do not want to mod out the frame, just need to find a t case that bolts to t18 31 spline aod that is campact.
Thanxs "mission next to impossible"

I don't know about all of that, but i did just get done putting a 351W, C6, and BW1365(i think thats what case it is, its a Tcase out of a full size bronco) under a Ranger, just had to notch the bottom of the frame rail, and move that can thing(the black thing be the yoke) on the frame rail between the gas tank and the frame mounted fuel pump..

so the bigger case does fit...

This is a bw1356 t case, you must have sat the motor back further then i did cause the t case i have sits out past the frame rail by 1 and a half inchs, so notching the rail would not help me. Thanxs anyway!!

please explain that... a T18 is a manual trans, a AOD is a auto trans, only thing they have in common is a 31 spline output shaft, along with alot of ford transmisions.
i can't remember what the spline count is for the D20, but i could count them for you when i get home, i have an extra one sitting in the shed. i did buy a adaptor to use the D20 on the back of a NP435, and from i remember the trans came out of a 4x4 1/2 ton, so the splines would be 31.. but just to be sure i'll count them for you..
you might be able to find the answer you are looking for over at The Ranger Station - Your Ultimate Ranger Resource

i set the motor as for to the passenger side and to the rear as i could... but i found out over on the ranger station that the tcase would clear the frame, i saw a couple builds using them. I can't remember where they sat the motors though...
